1. Who we are
CorrelateMD ("the Platform") is operated by Vitalink Media FZ-LLC (License FBDC3062), a Free Zone company registered in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates. Contact: info@correlatemd.com.
2. Nature of the Service — Educational, Not Diagnostic
CorrelateMD is a peer-to-peer educational platform. It facilitates the exchange of informal educational feedback between licensed radiologists ("Experts" and "Inquirers").
- The Platform does not provide medical diagnoses, "second opinions," or teleradiology reporting services.
- No doctor-patient relationship is created between any Expert and any patient.
- Final diagnostic, clinical, and therapeutic responsibility for any patient always remains with the Inquirer and the patient's treating physician.
3. Eligibility & Geographic Restrictions
Professional Status: Access is restricted to licensed radiologists. You warrant that you hold a valid medical license in your jurisdiction.
UAE Exclusion: CorrelateMD is an export-only educational service. Clinicians practicing within the United Arab Emirates are prohibited from using the Platform as "Inquirers." By using the Platform as an Inquirer, you warrant that you are practicing medicine outside of the UAE.
4. Warranty of De-identification
CorrelateMD does not host patient-identifiable data.
- The Inquirer warrants that all imaging links (via RapMed or similar) and clinical descriptions are fully de-identified in accordance with HIPAA, GDPR, or equivalent local standards.
- The Inquirer is solely responsible for ensuring no Patient Health Information (PHI) is shared through the Platform.
5. Fees and Payment Logic
- Fees are set by the Platform and displayed at checkout.
- Authorization: Payment is authorized (held) at the time of case submission.
- Capture: Payment is captured immediately when the Expert submits their educational feedback.
- Cancellations: If an Expert declines a case or fails to respond within 7 days, the authorization is canceled and no funds are taken.
5a. Refunds
- Unclaimed cases (automatic refund): If an Expert declines the case, or does not respond within 7 days, the payment authorization is released automatically and no funds are taken from your card.
- Discretionary refunds after delivery: Once the Expert has delivered educational feedback and the fee has been captured, payment is generally non-refundable. However, if you are dissatisfied with the educational value of the feedback, you may request a review by emailing info@correlatemd.com. Refunds in such cases are granted at the sole discretion of CorrelateMD admins on a case-by-case basis.
- When granted, refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
- A refund does not constitute an admission of clinical error by the Expert or the Platform. All feedback is educational only — see §2 and §8.
6. Expert Status
Experts providing feedback are independent professional consultants. They are not employees, agents, or partners of Vitalink Media FZ-LLC. The Platform acts solely as a technical facilitator for the exchange of information.
7. Data Retention & Auto-Deletion
- Videos: Expert video responses are automatically deleted from Platform storage 30 days after upload.
- Transcripts: Auto-generated transcripts and written feedback are retained permanently in the Inquirer's case history for audit and educational purposes.
8. Liability & No-Reliance
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vitalink Media FZ-LLC and its Experts are not liable for any clinical decisions made based on educational feedback. Feedback is provided without a physical examination or access to a full medical record; any reliance on it is at the Inquirer's sole risk.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), UAE.
